Photoshop
And, now...For a fun post...
I have been trying out some new Photoshop techniques. There is one particular effect that I especially like. You set the paintbrush to a color after making a new layer and make the brushes opacity very low (say 15%). Then, you "draw" on the layer. It creates this misty-magical feeling to the photo that you will see on a few photos her. The point of the shoot was to get some photos of the outfit I had on that day because I liked it so much, but the photos turned into more of an experimental Photoshop session during one 4 hour long car ride. The product is here... The regular photos are first and the Photoshop photos are after
Jacket: vintage
Shirt: TJ max
shorts: J Crew
Shoes: Ugg Australia
Bracelet: The Easter bunny :)
the shoes
The first of the Photoshop brush effect (I think the result is quite remarkable)
eraser testing
color value/random
best for last

Sewing
These are three of my designs that I have sewn for my portfolio.
1 The red dress is a velvet material with a coat on top. The coat has two pockets, buttons, and a back detailing (knit pieces)
2 The shirt is a baby doll top and the pants are loose in a flower print.
3 The shirt is seersucker with panels on the side of a different fabric. the skirt is leather and was quite a challenge to sew.

A QUICK WAY TO SPRUCE UP AN OLD TEE
This DIY came about when I found an abundance of felt in out sewing drawers...MWAHAHAH
You could cut out the felt in many different shapes, put it over stains, put it on the back/ side of the shirt,,etc
this is so simple so you can be very creative with it
anyways, here it is:

Misty Thursdays
Today was a misty Thursday, filled with lots of smiles for the upcoming 3 day weekend. It was a rainy day; luckily my beautiful burgundy doc martens were there to save the day. Every time I looked down at my feet to see how wet the ground was, I saw these beauties.
I'm going to start adding a song/ picture to each outfit, because each outfit has a feeling or inspiration that will better the experience of seeing my outfit photos. Today's song is Edge of Seventeen by Stevie Nicks.
Pants: Jcrew
Shirt: Jcrew
Vest: Levis
Shoes: doc martens
